摘要: Action on climate change will require significant transformation of the urban infrastructure and living patterns cities. This arise from processes decarbonising urban/city energy systems as well disentangling carbon emissions all services provision that enable life. Cities are complex technical-physical-ecological-social-cultural presents what is arguably archetypical ‘wicked’problem where an effort to one system may generate unexpected (and possibly undesirable) changes in another. chapter describes a four-year interdisciplinary research engagement project elaborate transformative decarbonisation scenarios for four Australian capital The used visualisation, scenario generation pathways analysis, with researchers supported by panel almost 250 professionals business, government civil society.
