摘要: Abstract The ichnofabric concept focuses on recognition of characteristic ways in which the texture and fabric a sediment has been affected by organism activity. Semiquantitative indices can be used as practical method for assessing degree or intensity bioturbation. Because reflects consistency sedimentary dynamics within depositional environment, it may crucial tool interpreting event sedimentation. interstitial oxygen concentrations also will reflected different ichnofabrics. Paleoecological information about endobenthic community interpreted from ichnofabric, including vertical tiering structure ichnocoenosis. Ichnofabric contributes to diagenetic that results lithification burrowed sediment. Recurrent ichnofabrics identified stratigraphical correlation basins, analysis powerful describer reservoirs.
