摘要: Abstract An overview of various techniques and methods available for ichnological analysis in field laboratory studies, as well borehole core image is given. In the field, lithology-dependent visibility bioturbation, trace fossils, ichnofabrics can be enhanced by brushing, sectioning, weathering, sawing, etc. Further include preparation peels, molds casts, different kinds sampling, imaging, photogrammetry, anaglyph stereo high-resolution LiDAR, or laser scanning. Building stones offer opportunity to closely study aspects ichnology. Semiquantification bioturbation best performed using categories with equal proportions. laboratory, sectioning enhancement staining, peeling advanced photography techniques, thin-sectioning, optical scanning electron microscopy, X-ray radiography, computer-aided tomography, polymer-resin casting help increase outcome integrated ichnological–sedimentological studies. Industrial application ichnology related cores images, while statistical computer modeling widely applied
