During exploratory tympanomastoidectomy it was hypothesized that small dural arteriovenous malformation not identified on previous tests cause tinnitus. However, complete disappearance during administration curare for anesthesia led us to might have been myoclonus ear. Sectioning stapedius and tensor tympani tendons rendered patient asymptomatic confirmed diagnosis At follow-up one year, patient's quality life had improved substantially; did recur she no longer vertigo.
