摘要: Imaging has been used for several decades the visual representation of cellular and molecular processes living organisms in a two or three dimensional fashion. Several imaging techniques like X-rays, immunohistochemistry, nuclear magnetic resonance, cryo-electron microscopes, positron emission tomography, green fluorescent protein labelling etc., have developed to understand structure function biological compounds (Saito et al. 2012). These aided study proteins thereby facilitating understanding various human diseases. As advancement available methods, new technique called Mass Spectrometry (MSI) (IMS) gained momentum recent past enabled analysis spatial distribution biomolecules peptides, metabolites, as well pharmaceutical based on their masses. In this chapter we focus strategies MSI experiments, types analysed methodology analyses by MSI.
