摘要: Since phasor measurement units (PMU) were invented, there has been growing interest in developing methodologies for improving monitoring, protection and control of power systems real time. In this study, the authors propose a new methodology, based on graph modelling, to identify coherent groups generators real-time fashion. The are identified with instantaneous values measured from system through PMUs, methodology needs neither setting number desired nor defining threshold value since it is coupling factors between generators. Moreover, proposed method online definition areas islanding when action required as latest emergency method. assigns non-generation buses previously found considering three criteria: electrical distance group generators, topology, operational constraints, which verified by mean an optimal flow. tested IEEE 39-bus 118-bus test systems. Results show that identification allow development strategies promising results.
