摘要: The efficacy and safety of Artecom were assessed in an open randomized trial adults presenting with acute, uncomplicated Plasmodium falciparum malaria Thailand. Three hundred fifty-two patients randomly enroled at the ratio 2:1 into group A:B received (group A) standard combination artesunate mefloquine B) respectively. All had rapid initial clinical parasitological responses. There no significant differences fever clearance time parasite between two groups. 28-day cure rates high as 97% both was effective well-tolerated artesunate-mefloquine, current treatment this area multidrug-resistant P. malaria.
