摘要: Abstract The effects of composition the plasticizer fraction and storage conditions on physical thermomechanical properties egg albumen/tragacanth gum based bioplastics were studied. Thus, glycerol ( G ) water W used as plasticizers at different / ratios (1:0, 3:1, 1:1, 1:3, 0:1), keeping biopolymer always 60% (w/w). Tragacanth was included in formulation for its well-known hydrophilic character, possible future applications these may be moisture dependent (e.g. modified atmosphere packaging). Moreover, stored room temperature under no control relative humidity those obtained when equilibrated a 53% (RH) atmosphere. This is reflected DMTA tensile tests results, which loss samples with highest contents (1:3, 0:1) involves very significant increases viscoelastic moduli strength RH. Glycerol presence RH taken promotes uptake, probably due to an interaction between both plasticizers, eventually lead greater plastic region tests.
