摘要: Endometriosis, defined as the presence of endometrial glandular and stromal cells outside uterine cavity, is a common gynecological disease with poorly understood pathogenesis. Using laser capture microdissection cDNA microarray 9600 genes/expressed sequence tags (ESTs), we have conducted comprehensive profiling gene expression differences between ectopic eutopic endometrium taken from 12 women endometriosis adjusted for menstrual phase location lesions. With dye-swapping replicated arrays, found 904 genes/ESTs that are differentially expressed. We validated using real-time RT-PCR. patterns these correctly classified patients into ovarian nonovarian endometriosis. identified clusters location-specific. In addition, several biological themes Expression Analysis Systematic Explorer. Finally, 79 pathways over 100 genes known functions, which include oxidative stress, focal adhesion, Wnt signaling, MAPK signaling. The identification their associated provides new insight. Our findings will stimulate future investigations on molecular genetic mechanisms underlying pathogenesis
