摘要: Abstract Among the most evident landscape signatures of human fingerprint, terraces related to agricultural activities are great importance. This technique is widely used in various parts world under environmental conditions. In some areas, terraced landscapes can be considered a historical heritage and cultural ecosystem service adequately preserved. However, subject abandonment progressively increase gully erosion cause terrace failure. Partly because changes societal perspective migration towards metropolitan countries have been affected by serious wide lands recent decades. review aims discuss current state landscapes, underlining critical issues likely solutions. The paper structured three main sections. introduction provides an overview available literature on their issues. second section presents case studies: first located so-called Cinque Terre area (Liguria, Northern Italy), placed Chianti Classico (Tuscany, Central third refers renowned Amalfi Coast (Salerno, Southern Italy). last relates solutions (non-structural structural management) future challenges (use high-resolution topography derived lidar) for suitable management such environments.
