摘要: In this study, micronucleus (MN) and chromosome aberration (CA) tests in Allium cepa (onion) were carried out order to make a preliminary characterization of the water quality Atibaia River an area that is under influence petroleum refinery also evaluate effectiveness treatments used by refinery. For these evaluations, seeds A. germinated waters collected five different sites related with ultra-pure (negative control) methyl methanesulfonate solution (positive control). According our results, we can suggest even after (physicochemical, biological stabilization pond) final effluent could induce aberrations meristematic cells discharge effluents interfere river.
