摘要: A personal computer has two possible memory sizes differing by the maximum number SIMMs that can be installed. Each SIMM stores presence detect bits indicating size and speed of SIMM. An I/O controller includes a port which is used to read from SIMMs. The further logic circuit set in accordance with selectively control driving or empty socket onto data bus.
