摘要: A data processing system such as a personal computer includes plurality of expansion connectors for receiving adapter cards. non-volatile memory stores programmable option select (POS) that is stored when the configured. Power On Self Test (POST) operation performed during which adapters are checked to determine if any have been added, moved or removed, since previous configuration. If so altered, may be placed in with all enabled except those were altered.
