摘要: Abstract Structural ceramic nanocomposites are reviewed with emphasis on the Al 2 O 3 SiC and Si N 4 systems. The incorporation of a nanosized second phase, such as SiC, into matrix can lead to an improvement in mechanical properties. It is still unclear, however, whether those improvements directly be related intrinsic ‘nanocompossite effect’ or other factors. This review divided three parts. First, basic processing routes for nanocomposites, namely conventional powder processing, sol-gel polymer pyrolysis presented detail. Second, properties different compared. Finally, models which attempt explain these explored. will shown that strength increase best reduction defect size. For applications most interesting their wear, creep high temperature performance.
