摘要: Summary The bacteriologic and clinicopathologic features of experimental Pseudomonas burn wound sepsis display an orderly sequence progression. There is initial supraeschar intrafollicular (hair) bacillary localization followed by more widespread intraeschar colonization. By the fourth fifth days, bacilli have invaded to junction burned viable tissue, at this time a low grade bacteremia becomes evident. Bacteria then invade zone granulation tissue. During terminal phase disease, bacterial invasion front destroys tissue invades deeper tissues. This associated with rise in pseudomonad count blood stream appearance visceral hematogenous lesions, leukopenia hypothermia. lesions not infrequently show vasculitis similar that seen human disease. details findings rat are discussed relation its counterpart.
