Estimates of Genetic Parameters for Direct and Maternal Effects with Six Different Models on Birth and Weaning Weights of Turkish Merino Lambs

摘要: The aim was to estimate the genetic parameters for birth and weaning weights of Turkish Merino lambs by separating direct genetic, maternal permanent environmental effects. Data pedigree information sheep used in this study were collected at Marmara Animal Breeding Research Institute from 1995 2001. Variance components estimated REML technique.
