摘要: Fumonisins are metabolites of Fusarium moniliforme and other spp. Fumonisin B1 (FB1) was hepatocarcinogenic (50 ppm, > or = 90% purity) when fed to male rats; however, neither the effects FB1 on females nor relationship between dietary levels toxicity in rats has been reported. Male female (three per sex group) were diets fortified with 0, 15, 50 150 ppm (> 99% for 4 weeks. There no differences general appearance behavior among groups significant weight gain food consumption not found. Histopathological examinations serum chemical profiles, including increases triglycerides, cholesterol, alkaline phosphatase, confirmed that hepatotoxic both sexes. Cortical nephrosis found males 15 FB1. Both hepatic renal lesions consistent those consuming F. moniliforme-infected corn. Thus, highly purified is unequivocally capable inducing subchronic liver kidney attributed moniliforme.
