摘要: Abstract The present experiments were designed to test the hypothesis that increase in plasma potassium which occurs during exercise acts as a stimulus respiration via peripheral chemoreceptors. effect of intravenous infusion KCl on ventilation was measured anaesthetised cats while they loaded with CO 2 intravenously bubble gas exchanger. Ventilation K + compared immediately before ‘intact’ and peripherally chemodenervated cats. In group there highly significant approximately 25% (+253±22ml/min, P concentration. results these indicate infusions stimulate this is abolished by chemodenervation.
