摘要: Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related death in United States. It was projected that more than 158,900 Americans would lose their lives 1999 as a result disease (1). Histopathologically, lung can be divided into two broad groups: small-cell (SCLC), which accounts for about 20% all cancers and exhibits some properties neuroendocrine cells; non-small-cell (NSCLC), constitutes 80% includes three major subtypes: adenocarcinoma, squamous-cell carcinoma (SCC), large-cell (LCC). The prognosis very poor with overall 5-yr survival rate less 15% This dismal unfortunately considered best worldwide, since average Europe 8%, same developing countries (2).
