摘要: Abstract Objective: To compare the efficiency of double balloon catheters with that intravaginal prostaglandins alone for labor induction unfavourable cervices in term nulliparous women. Methods: 50 patients induced a device were compared to 53 using alone. The main outcome measure was labour failure, characterized by absence active labour. secondary measures improvement Bishop score, average durations ripening and induction, time labour, need second cervical agent, total dose used each group, use oxytocins, as well rates vaginal delivery, abnormal foetal heart rate during perinatal maternal infection. Results: failed 28% against 13% group. higher score significantly lower Discussion conclusion: In our study, does not seem reduce women when addition, it could lengthen duration, although more powerful studies would be necessary recommend its
