摘要: The aim of this investigation was to characterize the proliferative precursor cells in adult mouse hippocampal region. Given that a very large number new are generated over lifetime an animal, it is predicted neural stem cell ultimately responsible for maintaining genesis. Although generally accepted resides within hippocampus, contradictory reports exist regarding classification cell. Is true or more limited progenitor? Using strict functional definition and vitro assays, we report resident progenitor capable proliferation multipotential differentiation but unable self-renew thus proliferate indefinitely. Furthermore, mitogen FGF-2 stimulates these greater extent than epidermal growth factor (EGF). In addition, found BDNF essential production neurons from cells, being required during trigger neuronal fate. contrast, bona fide identified lateral wall ventricle surrounding hippocampus. Interestingly, EGF proved be stronger mitogenic cell, which clearly different progenitor. These results suggest neurogenesis outside producing migrate into neurogenic zones produce glia.
