摘要: A three-part system that determines the correct power for an intraocular lens (IOL) to achieve a desired postoperative refraction is presented. The three components are (1) data screening criteria identify improbable axial length and keratometry measurements, (2) new IOL calculation formula exceeds current accuracy of other formulas short, medium, long eyes, (3) personalized "surgeon factor" adjusts any consistent bias in surgeon's results, from source, based on reverse solution formula; uses stabilized refraction, dioptric implanted IOL, preoperative corneal measurements calculate surgeon factor. improved was proven by performing calculations 2,000 eyes 12 surgeons comparing results seven currently used formulas.
