摘要: Abstract The diffusive permeability Pdm of various bilayer membranes has been measured by others. For small hydrophyllic solutes an important general feature is the rapid decrease in with increasing molecular size. As discussed preceding paper, hypothesis a large population thermally excited transient aqueous pores consistent electrical properties membranes. Here pore shown to also be experimentally determined permeabilities. In addition, contribution give significant fractional increase membrane as transmembrane voltage varied from 0 200 mV. Even though magnitude at U = decreases rapidly size, predicted become larger size increases, and believed related tremendous which accompanies reversible breakdown.
