摘要: The Metal Vapor Vacuum ion source (MEWA) has been developed for the production of beams a wide range metal ions. charge states most heavy elements created by high current MEVVA source, which typically generates ions with mean state up to three, have be elevated higher accelerator reasons at GSI facility. Several methods are known elevate states. Especially generation U4+ strong magnetic field and arc used GSI. Both increase voltage in turn influences electron energy distribution thus state. Arc voltages measured different settings current, flux density discharge geometry indicating dependencies between these quantities voltage.
