摘要: Striking differences were found between different histological types of breast cancer when 263 invasive carcinomas tested for nuclear p53 accumulation in formaldehyde-fixed paraffin sections. Nuclear was > 10% tumor cells 61% medullary (22/36), 37% grade 3 ductal not otherwise specified (32/86), 4% lobular (2/47), and 0% (0/7) mucinous carcinomas. Strong cytoplasmic staining noted 32% High percentages high-grade accumulate p53, but these tumors have favorable poor prognoses, respectively. Thus, whereas can be associated with high morphological malignancy grades general cell proliferation particular, is necessarily correlated biological aggressiveness. Overall incidence p53-positive a particular series (in our study 28%) will depend on the ratio specified, medullary,
