The association between antisocial personality and somatization disorders: A review and integration of theoretical models.

摘要: Abstract Evidence from several sources is consistent with the possibility that antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) and somatization (SD) are sex-differentiated manifestations of same underlying predisposition. Following a discussion diagnostic issues brief review data on relation between ASPD SD, four models association two syndromes reviewed; frontal lobe model, efferent inhibition behavioral disinhibition negative emotionality model. Behavioral may lead to recurrent risk-taking behaviors in some individuals, resulting elevated propensity develop somatic symptoms. Factors might be responsible for channeling diathesis SD into alternative pathways discussed.
