摘要: Abstract Shifts in the apparent energy of peaks gamma-ray spectra from Ge(Li) detectors have been measured as a function source-detector geometry for several detectors. For planar detector, change peak was between gamma rays entering parallel and perpendicular to electric field. With bias observed 2500 keV ray. five coaxial detectors, shift distance. ray 1500 keV, shifts were >100 eV −90 six going distance 35 cm 1 cm. The larger these could introduce significant systematic errors precise difference measurements. This effect is presumed result (1) acceleration electrons due detector (2) variation charge collection efficiency over volume.
