摘要: Pain is a major concern of cancer patients and significant problem for therapy. can become predominant symptom in advanced cancers. In this open-label clinical study, the authors have treated 26 who been declared as terminal without option conventional treatment. These suffered from high levels pain that was poorly managed by all available interventional approaches recommended World Health Organization (WHO) guideline. The results indicate intravenous infusion dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) sodium bicarbonate (SB) solution be viable, effective, safe treatment refractory patients. had due to disease progression complication chemotherapy radiation. Moreover, preliminary outcome 96-day follow-up suggests application DMSO SB intravenously could lead better quality life with nontreatable data observation indicates further research combination may help development an safe, inexpensive therapy manage pain.
