摘要: Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by bacterium of the Mycobacterium genus, mainly tuberculosis (MTB). The World Health Organization aims to substantially reduce number cases in coming years; however, increased multidrug-resistant (MDR) and extremely drug-resistant (XDR) forms lack treatment for latent are challenges be overcome. In this review, we have identified most potent compounds described literature during recent years with MIC values < 7 µM, low toxicity a high selective index. addition, emerging targets MTB presented provide new perspectives discovery antitubercular drugs. This review summarize current advances promote insights into drug discovery.
