Choosing bottled over tapped: drinking water in the Dominican Republic

摘要: While not designated as an improved drinking water source, bottled is increasingly used by households in low- and middle-income countries families strive to obtain perceived safer water. The Dominican Republic has high levels of use despite piped access. This study aimed identify household characteristics that are associated with choosing over tapped the through further examination data available from a nationally representative Demographic Healthy Survey 2007.
