摘要: The inclusion of fibers into a matrix over only partial thickness the beam is regarded as partially fiber reinforcing beam. This concept fully invoked in present investigation. A tensile strain enhancement factor, t, determined by direct tension test, forms convenient engineering parameter that takes care influence aspect ratio and volume fraction given type fiber. appropriate section to be reinforced with computed using above parameter. Necessary analytical expressions were developed compute moment factor associated different values parameter, t. validity approach was experimentally demonstrated. Practically similar deflection patterns for fibrous sections observed. applicability method practical situations, such design airfield highway pavements conretes, cited.
