摘要: Ten simply supported grossly under-reinforced tapered concrete beams of full size were tested up to complete collapse under flexural effect .Out 10 beams, 5 non-fibrous and the remaining contained fibres. The had a variation in angle as 2°, 4°, 6°, 8° 10°. mix, conventional steel type fibre used held constant. Flat corrugated fibres utilized secondary reinforcement. strength stability parameters measured. It is established that fibrous can be economically earthquake prone areas.
