摘要: Diabetes mellitus has considerable and increasing importance in England. The burden of illness is concentrated ethnic minority groups socioeconomically deprived areas. Evidence for effective clinical care increased following the results UK Prospective Study but current diabetes services are variable quality. These inequalities inequities being actively addressed through national policies to improve access quality agreed standards. standards encourage a shift towards patient-centered, primary-care led service working closely with multidisciplinary specialists.
