摘要: Measurements using optical frequency combs1,2,3,4,5,6 are now important in high-precision spectroscopy. However, measurement techniques described so far either restricted to narrow ranges or difficult implement the far-infrared regime. Here we present a time-domain method for direct of frequencies mid- and spectral region. The is analogous sampling scope, with electric field source measured by electro–optic sampling7,8,9,10,11,12,13 light pulses from femtosecond laser as probe. highest that can be our ‘sampling scope’ determined pulse length laser. When 12-fs probe used, up 40 THz, corresponding wavelength 7.5 µm, possible9.
