摘要: Levels of IgG, IgE, IgM, and IgA were determined, specific antibodies detected by the fluorescent antibody test, hemagglutination complement fixation test immunoelectrophoresis, intradermal tests for delayed hypersensitivity to Schistosoma mansoni antigens performed in Brazilian patients with schistosomiasis mansoni. The results compared according clinical forms disease. IgG levels titers increased progressively subclinical, hepatomegalic, hepatosplenic there was a statistical relationship between intensity responses four serological tests; Delayed (DHS) found more frequently particularly those splenomegaly. DHS also correlated age, but not sex or skin color. strongest reactions observed 20 34 years old, having highest fecal egg output. levels, titers, decreased after splenectomy portal filtration worms. No significant variation untreated subjects, who splenectomized group subject reinfection 4 yearsk0
