摘要: This work describes the development and experimental analysis of hyperelastic honeycombs with graded densities, for purpose energy absorption. Hexagonal arrays are manufactured from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) via fused filament fabrication (FFF) 3D printing density by varying cell wall thickness though structures. Manufactured samples subject to static compression tests their absorbing potential analysed formation absorption diagrams. It is shown that grading through structure, profile these structures can be manipulated such a wide range energies efficiently absorbed.
