摘要: Abstract The paper presents a new approach for failure modeling of cellular structure manufactured with 3D printing technology. For this purpose, the honeycomb topology was designed and fabricated using fused deposition ABSplus material. proposed method based on tiebreak contact connecting plastic joints cell walls. Additionally, two methods constitutive models were also analyzed. In first case, an elasto-plastic material model adopted, whereas in second case elasto-visco-plastic damage included. Firstly, mechanical properties determined numerically correlated experimental outcomes. Subsequently, parametric study performed, optimal parameters evaluated. quasi-static compression tests simulated LS-Dyna software. results actual numerical analyses three different compared terms deformation, force history, behavior energy absorption capabilities. It shown that contact-based resulted increase quality better reproduction characteristic progressive during deformation process, to other methods.
