摘要: The regulation of fetal hemoglobin in adult erythroid cells was investigated with bone marrow cultures. Fetal (Hb F) identified individual colonies fluorescent antibodies against Hb F and synthesis gamma chains determined analyses radioactive globins. appearance clonal. All the synthesizing contained hemoglobin. frequency showing higher than expected compared to containing blood. Production culture, as shown by analysis globins, 5 14 times baseline synthesis. These results suggest that ability for chain is at or above level precursor cell from which colonies, vitro, derive (probably an erythropoietin responsive stem cell), stimulation possible.
