摘要: Research in child and adolescent psychiatry has remarkably changed during the last two decades. In general, there is a strong trend towards empirically based research all relevant areas, including basic as well psychotherapy prevention. Important contemporary fields are: epidemiology, developmental psychopathology, family electrophysiology, neuropsychology, genetics, application of new imaging techniques psychiatric disorders. Several methods applied these have been developed non-medical disciplines so that it will be an interdisciplinary task to integrate them into medical discipline. New journals, most using approach, substantially contributed spread knowledge improved quality scientific contributions worldwide. Nevertheless, are also deficits shortcomings: not enough support for field psychopathology. many countries, deficit with regard education training young researchers. There positions senior researchers within departments psychiatry, without overload clinical tasks. However, places given resources adequately used, very often, lack cooperation. Besides general shortcomings, conceptualization evaluation treatment measures To overcome shortcomings important future.
