摘要: Abstract. Patients with end-stage renal disease treated by hemodialysis have a tremendous risk for cardiovascular complications that cannot be explained traditional atherosclerosis factors. Lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)), factor these in the general population, is significantly elevated patients. In this study, it was determined whether Lp(a) and/or genetically apo(a) phenotype are predictors development of coronary artery A cohort 440 unselected patients were followed period 5 yr independent cause disease, duration preceding treatment, and preexistence at study entry. Coronary events defined as definite myocardial infarction, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, aortocoronary bypass, or stenosis >50% angiography main outcome measure. Sixty-six (15%) suffered event during follow-up. univariate analysis, older showed trend to lower HDL cholesterol concentrations, higher apolipoprotein B concentrations without reaching significance. Apo(a) phenotypes low molecular weight, however, more frequent compared those (43.9% versus 21.9%, P 65 entry both excluded from analysis. Diabetes mellitus only presence weight phenotype. The strong predictor phenotyping might helpful identify high disease.
