Postmortem Clomipramine: Therapeutic or Toxic Concentrations?

摘要: Postmortem blood and liver concentrations of clomipramine were determined in ten cases by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Blood ranged from 0.21 to 4.9 mg/L, 7.0 320 mg/kg. Two associated with toxicity clearly differentiated other the analysis liver. The these two 3.3 1.8 mg/L blood, 280 mg/kg 10 30 fold greater deaths drug compared cases. One case, where cardiac was collected place femoral showed a concentration (4.9 mg/L), but an arguably therapeutic (13 mg/kg). together provides best guide as significance post-mortem concentrations.
