Determination of the Thermodynamic Temperatures of the Freezing Points of Silver and Gold by Near-Infrared Pyrometry

摘要: The thermodynamic temperatures of the freezing points silver and gold have been measured relative to aluminium point with a photoelectric pyrometer effective wavelength about 974 nm. values obtained are 1234.927 K ± 0.018 1337.330 0.022 respectively. These results based on value -64.3 mK for T-T68 at 730 K, recommended by working group IV CCT in Dec. 1988 take into account most recent gas thermometry Edsinger Schooley. overall uncertainties given 68.3% confidence limits.
