摘要: Intracellular pH (pHi) was determined during arrest and recovery of temperature sensitive-cell division cycle mutants Saccharomyces cerevisiae. In all mutants, pHi decreased arrest; but when the were released from a rapid increase in ensued only cdc28- cdc37-arrested cells. Both these mutations cause at 'start', sole regulatory point S. cerevisiae cell cycle. cells with cdc4 or cdc7 mutations, which past start, remained constant exhibited decrease, respectively, upon growth. The activity plasma membrane ATPase first 30 min cdc28-arrested cells, concomitant rise pHi. During same period, there no significant change cdc4-bearing whereas an observed for cdc7-bearing Increase may be used as specific signal by start traversal commitment to new
