摘要: In a population-based, matched, case-control study from southern Sweden of 571 patients with first diagnosis cutaneous malignant melanoma and 913 healthy controls aged 16-80 years, the association between sunbed use was evaluated. A total 250 (44%) cases 372 (41%) reported ever having used sunbeds. significantly elevated odds ratio for developing after regular exposure to sunbeds found, adjusted hair colour, raised naevi, skin type number sunburns (odds (OR) 1.8, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.2-2.7). dose-response relationship uses risk only found up level times. The OR higher in individuals younger than age 36 years (adjusted 8.1, CI 1.3-49.5 vs. never use). seemed be true subjects black/dark brown or light among females. Lesions extremities showed strongest increased use. An related commercial during winter. results substantiate hypothesis that might increase melanoma.
