Beta blockade with pindolol: Differential cardiac and renal effects despite similar plasma kinetics in normal uremic man. Cardiac (measured as the reduction exercise-induced tachycardia PRA, respectively) circulating drug concentrations after acute beta intravenous pindolol were compared between seven volunteers six patients terminal failure. Kinetic parameters both groups (total body clearance, 450 ml/min), indicating enhanced extrarenal elimination patients. For any given concentration, however, responded to a greater decrease pulse rate than did (P Blocage par le Effets cardiaque et differents malgre une cinetique plasmatique semblable, chez l'homme uremique.
