摘要: Investigating and improving the quality of conceptual models has gained tremendous importance in past years. In general, model understandability is regarded one most important goals criteria. A considerable amount empirical studies, especially experiments, have been conducted order to investigate factors influencing models. However, a thorough review reconstruction 42 experiments on this research shows that there variety different understandings conceptualizations term understandability. As consequence, remains ambiguous, results are hardly comparable partly imprecise, which necessity clarification what modeling community actually talking about when used. overcome shortcoming, our classifies observed dimensions reference framework. Moreover, implications findings presented discussed some guidelines for future given.
