摘要: Abstract 1 A crude and a partially purified preparation of slow reacting substance C (SRS-C) as well arachidonic acid decreased resistance to perfusion the dog hind paw. This effect was suppressed by treatment with non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs. 2 Injections SRS-C or induced marked reproducible contractions strips rabbit aorta rat stomach which were bathed in blood from an anaesthetized dog. The on is attributed formation contracting (RCS). when treated drug. 3 Incubation platelet-rich plasma resulted similar materials. drugs. 4 SRS-C, linoleic, linolenic, acids are suitable substrates for soybean lipoxidase generation RCS. 5 It suggested that RCS prostaglandin formed within platelets, injected into animals added vitro. Non-steroid drugs suppress these effects, possibly inhibiting synthetase.
