摘要: The topic of Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) has attracted much attention in the last few years. While field is obviously still process development, there a marked ambiguity about exact focus field. This lack may hinder its further development and lead to dissipation. In this paper we set out an approach CSCW as research which believe provides coherent conceptual framework for area, suggesting that it should be concerned with support requirements cooperative work arrangements. more principled, comprehensive, and, our opinion, useful conception than provided by being focused on computer groups. We then investigate consequences taking alternative seriously, terms directions As indication fruits approach, discuss concept 'articulation work' relevance CSCW. raises host interesting problems are marginalized small group but critical success systems 'in large', i. e., designed meet current everyday world.
