Groupware Support for Asynchronous Collaborative Knowledge Work

摘要: In this chapter we discuss how Lotus Notes supports the information exchange among group members, one of basic processes underlying collaborative work. The discussion is based on results interviews conducted members five groups using Notes. All tasks involved asynchronous knowledge work with clear, short-term outcomes. We conclude that stimulates provision relevant to a as whole, enables deal in more creative way and promotes information, although facilitation provided by less successful other respects. also attention should be paid individual experience task inter-dependence sharing information.
