摘要: The author proposed to adopt wide dynamic range compression and adaptive multichannel modulation-based noise reduction algorithms enhance hearing protector performance. Three experiments were conducted investigate the effects of configurations on amount reduction, speech intelligibility, overall preferences using existing digital aids. In Experiment 1, sentence materials recorded in spectrum white after being processed by eight When aids set 3:1 compression, achieved was enhanced or maintained for with parallel configurations, but reduced serial configurations. Experiments 2 3, 16 normal-hearing listeners’ intelligibility perceived sound quality tested when they listened through Regardless configuration, level noise. Additionally, listeners preferred rather than configuration conditions 1:1 activated. Implications aid design are discussed.
